Jeff Turgeon
Executive Director, MassHire Central Region Workforce Board

Jeff Turgeon is the Executive Director of the MassHire Central Region Workforce Board (MCRWB), the local Board tasked by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act with overseeing the public workforce system for the City of Worcester, MA and 37 surrounding communities in southern Worcester County.  The MCRWB has been recognized by the MA Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development as a High Performing Board and has been a state leader in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programming for adult job seekers, as well as services to youth, veterans, and vulnerable populations.

Jeff’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University, a master’s degree from Georgia Southern University, and a management certificate from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.  Jeff’s professional experience prior to joining the MCRWB includes senior leadership positions at the YMCA of Greater Worcester, the Shriver Job Corps Center, and the US Department of Labor.  Jeff currently lives in Northborough, MA with his wife and three children.
