Erin Quinn
Associate Commissioner of Employment and Training Programs

Erin Quinn is the Associate Commissioner of Employment and Training Programs at the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, overseeing DTA’s Pathways to Work Programs, which provide employment, education and training opportunities to individuals and families who receive public assistance. In her current position, Erin directs the annual employment service budget and contract management with over 50 community-based employment service providers statewide and leads the Department’s continued partnership with APHSA and the New England states on the Administration of Children and Family’s Whole Family Approach to Jobs initiative. Her work on this initiative includes oversight of DTA’s statewide collaborations to improve coordination of service delivery and advisory opportunities for young parents, in partnership with the Department of Public Health on the MA Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative. Erin serves on the Board of Directors of the Commonwealth Corporation, the Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund Advisory Board, the Greater Lowell Workforce Advisory Board, and the Transitional Age Youth Task Force. She completed a Master of Public Administration as the 2018/2019 recipient of the Commonwealth Fellowship at Suffolk University. Erin is deeply committed to implementing evidence-based, goal achievement workforce strategies and cross-sector partnerships that improve economic outcomes for children and families.
